The terms “metabolic health” and “metabolic syndrome” are commonplace today, but what do they actually mean? More importantly, why should you care? Metabolism refers to a complex set of biochemical processes responsible for converting food and stored energy (like fat) into fuel, powering every cellular function in your body.
